We have been hearing about Apple trying to acquire Beats and it was said that the deal between the two companies was closed at $3billions. Looks like the acquisitions is finally complete as both Apple and Beats posed a statement on their respected websites and tweeter accounts confirming that the $3billion acquisition has been complete. Apple said “Music has always held a special place in our hearts, and we’re thrilled to join forces with a group of people who love it as much as we do, Beats cofounders Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre have created beautiful products that have helped millions of people deepen their connection to music’’. Tim Cook who is the CEO of Apple also tweeted about it about it by welcoming Dre, Luke Wood, Ian Rogers and the rest of the Beats teams to Apple’s family. Apple was not the only one as Beats also made a statement on their website regarding Apple that Apple has traveled a long way and has produced some great instruments that have helped musicians all around the world with the help of devices like Mac, iPod, iPhone, and iPad and said that “Starting today, we at Beats are fortunate to add our instrument to this legacy by joining Apple. The products we build together will allow us to reimagine sound once again and to continue this great tradition of bringing imagination to life’’. Everything is going to be the same though people interested in getting Beats products can only purchase it from Apple’s official website now and as far as Beats official website goes well its history now though beats did updated their privacy policy in which the company didn’t mention Apple by name in text. Now that both the companies have joined hands we should expect Beats audio technology included in Apple’s new devices.
