Lenovo just announced their 2014 flagship smartphone known as Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro. As Lenovo is a computer manufacturer we didn’t expect a smartphone from the company but the company did came up with one and it has a 6 inch screen. We are not sure if people would prefer to have a 6 inch smartphone but it depends on the choice of the customer though a smartphone with a 6 inch display would be too long and big to hold and operate with one hand.
Apart from the big screen size Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro offers good hardware as well and is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor that is clocked at 2.5GHz which is more than enough to run the 2k display on the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro with a pixel density of 490ppi, 3GB of RAM, 16MP camera with BSI sensor and optical image stabilization which also supports 4k video recording though there is no front facing camera. The smartphone will be running Android Kitkat 4.4 and to power it all a 4000mAh battery which is enough to power it through all day with heavy usage.
The entire smartphone is made out of metal and is 7.7mm thick with a rectangular design. Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro will arrive in September and will come in three colors including black, white, and gold though the price on the device is not mentioned yet.
There are also rumors and some leaked pictures of a mini version of Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro which will have a 5 inch display though Lenovo didn’t reveal anything about that. A 5 inch screen would be a better option than the 6 inch Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro if the rumors came out to be true. Would you go for such a large phone ?
