As Microsoft Windows phone is getting famous, more and more smartphone manufactures are coming towards it as recently several smartphone manufacturers like Micromax, Lave and more have announced their version of Windows phone. There were rumors about LG as well that the company is working on a Windows phone of their own but there was nothing solid about it.

In February at a Microsoft conference the company announced that LG is going to be one of the partners as well that will come up with a Windows phone but LG hasn’t announced anything after that though we don’t know why. According to Alan Mendelevich who is the founder of cross-promotion network called AdDuplex, a new LG smartphone has been spotted in the data base with the model number D635 which runs on Windows 8.1. He also said that the smartphone will be equipped with a 5 inch display that will support a resolution of 720 x 1,280. From the specs the LG D635 looks like a mid-ranged smartphone which is normal for a company that is adopting to a new OS for the first time.

With the launch of Windows 8.1 for smartphones Microsoft has added a lot of customization and functionality to their new OS because users nowadays go for smartphones with a lot of customizations and easy access to everything. Android was first to bring customization after which iOS followed and now Windows too with their 8.1 update. Windows 8.1 offers a lot of improvements over its previous versions as the OS has its own voice assistant now by the name of Cortana and a drop down menu and customizable tiles while Nokia is making high end smartphones to run Windows 8.1. What do u think about it, will you go for an LG Windows smartphone?
