In June LG introduced their new line of G Pad tablets including a 7 inch, 8 inch and a 10.1 inch G Pad tablet. The LG G Pad 7.0 was made available in the market on 7th of July while for the rest of the two LG said that they were going to be available in the coming weeks. Well the wait is finally over as LG has made its largest G Pad 10.1 available globally.
According to LG “Tablets are increasingly being used as companion devices, which is why we made connecting the LG G Pad 10.1 to other devices so easy and convenient and why LG G Pad 10.1 offers the best core technologies of our G series smartphones. ” LG G Pad 10.1 is an Android powered tablet which brings a lot of LG features along with it that we saw on the recent flagship smartphone the LG G3. The tablet also supports Knock Code with the help of which up to four users can add their own respected knock codes as each one maintains their own privacy. Knock code helps unlock the tablet with a series of taps on the screen on specific places selected by the user.
The tablets also comes with a Smart Keyboard a feature that was recently introduced in the LG G3 as well with the help of which users can set the size of the keyboard and the keyboard also helps reduce errors by learning from the user so that it would know what the user intends to type.
LG G Pad 10.1 is equipped with a 10.1 inch display that supports a resolution of 1280 x 800, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of onboard storage with micro SD card expansion slot, 5MP camera on the back while a 1.2 MP camera at the front, 8000mAh battery and will be running Android Kitkat 4.4.2 out of the box.
