Resident Evil has been a famous franchise through all these years with a lot of sequels while rumors surrounding the internet were there about Capcom working on the sequels of Resident Evil Revelations that was a famous game that got launched in 2012. The game was first launch on 3DS and made its way from there to consoles like Xbox 360 and PS3 and then finally came to PC.

Well the rumors were true and the sequel of Resident Evil Revelations known as Resident Evil Revelations 2 is in works and is set to launch in 2015. This announcement came after a leaked listing of the Resident Evil Revelations 2 that was spotted on Xbox.com that showed both the screen shot and the box art relating to Resident Evil Revelations 2.

Capcom further announced that both Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield will not be featured as protagonist this time as they will be placed in a new setting. More news will be announced about Resident Evil Revelations with a demo on a show that will be held in Tokyo Game Show later this month.

Last year Capcom said that their Resident Evil Revelations title made 1.1 million in sales and that might be the sole reason why Capcom has decided to come up yet another sequel to its famous game. There are a lot of players still there who love to play Resident Evil though the game is not the same and as challenging as it used it. Capcom refused to comment further about the game.
