There have been a lot of rumors pointing towards a premium build smartphone from Samsung known as the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. There have been so many rumors and leaked pictures regarding the Galaxy Alpha that we are sure that Samsung is working on one, other than that Samsung also said that they are working on a phone with new materials. Samsung Galaxy Alpha is said to be made out of metal and will be the first metal smartphone from Samsung which will compete against the iPhone 6.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha will also be equipped with a 4.8 inch display that will support a resolution of 720P but will be using the latest AMOLED screen from Samsung the same one used on the Galaxy S5 which is also said to be the best screen on a smartphone to date. We don’t know why the display is set to a lower resolution but even at 720P Samsung Galaxy Alpha can go head to head with the display on the iPhone 6. Samsung Galaxy Alpha will also be equipped with an octa-core Exynos 5433 SOC coupled with Mali-T628 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The smartphone will also have a 12MP camera on its back while a 2MP camera at its front and will be running Android kitkat 4.4.4.
The phone has a rectangular shape to it and with the metal finish the phone looks quite good, but we have yet to see if it’s true or not as these are just leaked images of the smartphone. Samsung is said to launch its Samsung Galaxy Alpha smartphone in the month of August which will be before the launch of both the Note 4 and the iPhone 6, though if Samsung did launch their Galaxy Alpha smartphone it will be the best looking smartphone from the company yet.
