Maybe the time is near for Chinese company Xiaomi to come up with their 2014 flagship smartphone that is said to be Xiaomi Mi4 successor to the Mi3, because the company has started to tease the public about Xiaomi’s next launch event.
The first tease image was posted on Weibo account by Xiaomi CEO named Lei Jun that revealed a picture with a big 4 on it while also revealing the launch date that is July 22nd. After Xiaomi CEO, Bin Lin who is the President of Xiaomi also posted the same picture on his Facebook account with the same details but also added that ‘’We will tell the story about “The journey of a piece of steel metal”. So there are two things that the company is giving away that is the model number of the new smartphone which is going to be Xiaomi Mi4 and the materials that its body is going to be using which is metal.
There have been other leaks on the internet as well about the Xiaomi Mi4 talking about the metal chassis that Xiaomi Mi4 will have. There was also a leaked picture of the front panel of the phone showing that the smartphone will have very thin bezels as well, no details have been given about the specs of the smartphone yet but according to some Xiaomi Mi4 will be equipped with a 5.5 inch display that will support a resolution of 1920 x 1080P, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB RAM and will be running MIUI ROM on top of Android Kitkat 4.4.
Xiaomi is also known as Apple of China and recently launched their high specked smartphone with an entry level price in hopes to capture the developing market of India where there are many potential buyers.
